How to hire staff on VirtualStaff.ph

We’ve made it effortless and straightforward for employers to hire staff and virtual assistants in the Philippines.

To get started, create your employer account, and check for a subscription that works best for you so you can proceed to post jobs, message applicants, and hire the best Virtual Staff. You can check this link to guide you about the subscription.

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Sign up

  1. Create your free employer account
  2. Upgrade to a Subscription

Step 2: Post a job

  1. Post a job.
  2. Invite, shortlist and message the best applicants that apply for your job post.
  3. You can message, call, video call, or/and interview the applicants. It’s entirely your decision.

Hire applicants

  1. Click on the profile of the applicant that you want to hire.
  2. Click the “send job offer” button.
  3. Enter the job details, including the hourly salary, work schedule, job position, and other important information.
  4. Click “send.”

Once you send the job offer, the applicant has the option to “accept” or “decline” the job offer. They might also message you from within the VirtualStaff.ph messaging system to counter-offer the salary or work schedule.

Ultimately it is between the employer and the worker to agree on the job offer terms.

The only thing that is fixed in the job offer is the following:

  1. You must pay staff an hourly salary rate. We don’t allow commission-only jobs to be posted on our marketplace.

Important things to remember

  • You can only send job offers to people that have applied for your job post.
  • All job offers must be sent from within the VirtualStaff platform by clicking the “Send Job Offer” button.
  • You can set a decision deadline. (e.g., 48 hours before the job offer expires).
  • You can terminate your Virtual Staff at any time. However, it’s best to communicate with them and let the staff know in advance.
  • You only pay your Virtual Staff for the hours you have authorized them to work.
  • You NEVER pay your Virtual Staff in advance. You always pay them through VirtualStaff.ph, and it’s always for the hours that the staff worked.
